You’re Either Too Young or Too Old To Understand Binga’s Sign

Binga's Express in Windham is at it again with another new message on their sign that speaks to two generations.

Whoever came up with this one had their musical tastes planted purely in 1987.

So let's explain it to those that may not understand the references.

First, "Kiki" is a reference to Drake's song "In My Feelings" which has the line "Kiki (or KeKe) do you love me?" It also is the song that has become a viral sensation with a dance that people have been doing to the song. Will Smith even did it on a bridge over a river in Budapest.

As for the second part, "Annie" is a reference to the 1987 Michael Jackson song from his Bad album "Smooth Criminal." The main hook of the song is Michael continuously asking "Annie, are you okay, you okay, you okay, Annie?"

Although, whoever came up with the sign might actually be stuck in the the early 2000's when Alien Ant Farm released their popular cover of "Smooth Criminal."

So hopefully that clears up any confusion for either generation. Well played once again Binga's.
