5 Things You’ll Only See At The World’s Largest Pinball Tournament
I spent a fantastic weekend in Pittsburgh at the world's largest pinball tournament, cleverly called Pinburgh. It's a unique event as 400 pinball players from all around the world compete to become the Pinburgh champion. It's also unique because there are some things you'll see at Pinburgh that you just won't see anywhere else. Here are five of them:
1. Flipper Pants - Sweatpants with strategicially placed flippers. You need to have a real passion for pinball to wear these.
2. Kids playing pinball for free...and loving it.
3. Pinburgh is the only place where the line for the men's room is longer than the line for the ladies room.
4. This thing. A snail? You be the judge.
5. A 10-year-old named Escher Lefkoff finishing in the top 10 of 400 players. I'll tell you more about this amazing kid and what he did while competing that will bring a smile to your face later this week.
