Acadia National Park is celebrating 100 years this year. Acadia was established on July 8, 1916 with the Sieur de Monts National Monument. Although it is the fifth smallest national park, it boasts over 150 hiking trails, 45 miles of carriage trails, 26 mountains, and has welcomed over 2.5 million visitors in 2014.

At Acadia, you can find views of coastal islands and rocky shores, sandy beaches and lush green trails. These photos from Instagram show off the beauty of Acadia National Park.
