A Creepy Old School in Livermore Falls, Maine, to Be Transformed Into a Haunted House This October

For the last couple of years, many of the notable Halloween attractions in Maine have had to operate differently thanks to a combination of the pandemic and a workforce shortage. This could mean scaled-back interactions or just limiting the amount of dates available. Another wrinkle has been the weather, as Maine has seen an abundance of high wind and heavy rain in October recently. So, one haunted attraction in Livermore Falls has decided to tackle all those problems head on. The United Way is going transform a creepy old school into a full blown haunted house with limited dates and no weather cancellations.

Shared on Facebook, the event is going to be called Halls of Horror. If you've ever experienced a spirit week in high school, picture that except with all of your nightmares coming to life. United Way has been working already to transform the old Livermore Falls High School into a series of ghoulish attractions featuring spiders, witches, clowns, and more. Halls of Horror is the next step in the evolution of Farmington Fright Nights, which is being split into two separate events for 2022.

If you're interested in checking out Halls of Horror, you'll have only five chances to do so. The event takes place on Friday and Saturday October 21-22, and then again on Friday and Saturday October 28-29. There will also be a special Halloween day version of Halls of Horror with additional details to be revealed. The times of the event and pricing information are not available as of this writing.
