A Raccoon Riding an Alligator – File This One Under ‘Never Seen Before’

Yeah you read that right. A raccoon hitched a ride on an alligator in Ocala, Florida. Why? I don't know. Just look at this and let it sink in for a moment.

Two things immediately come to mind for me when I see this. One is Guardians of the Galaxy and Rocket Raccoon. I can totally see Rocket doing this to escape capture on the planet of the alligators.

The second thing that comes to mind is the classic video game Frogger who rides on an alligator to get to his lily pad. You remember Frogger right? Arcades? Dream Machine at the Maine Mall? Aladdin's Castle at the Lewiston Mall? LaVerdiere's? I'm getting old.
