Imagine my horror when I read the back of the package of Bully Sticks for Casco.

I have given Casco Bully Sticks as a dog treat every once in a while. It's infrequent because they are expensive. But I got a bag of them, and she so enjoys it and it keeps her from barking at dogs on TV. Yes, I love this dog so much but she has the MOST annoying habit of barking at ALL animals on TV. Do you have any idea how many animals are on TV? A lot!

So, I had just given her a long Bully Stick yesterday and wasn't sure if she could have another one. So I looked at the back of the package. It appears she was fine to have another one. But then I saw something that caught my eye:

There was only one ingredient:

What the hell is bull pizzle? Well, well, well, imagine my surprise when I Googled THAT!

Only 62 percent of veterinarians and 44 percent of dog owners know that these “treats” are, in fact, uncooked, dried penises harvested from slaughtered bulls and steers.

Wait...did I read that right? I figured that wasn't right, so I looked again, and again and again and it all pointed to BULL PENIS! Ya know, someone said that to me and I 100% thought they were kidding. I honestly don't know what I thought it was, but I can guarantee you THAT was not even close to a guess. Am I the only one on the planet that didn't know what my dog was enjoying so much?
