American Idol Alex Preston Added to ‘Not So Silent Night’ [VIDEO]

Alex Preston, who made it to the 3rd runner up on "American Idol" last season will be at the Q's Not So Silent Night with MKTO!

He's stopping by at 8 am to hang with the Q Morning Show on Wednesday morning (11/19).

Alex Preston is only 21 and is from our neighbors to the south, New Hampshire. He is genuine, hard working, real, and kind and has been involved in music since he was only 4.

Last year he landed a spot on "American Idol", and ended up getting third place. Not too shabby and he got to work with, Jason Mraz, Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr, Keith Urban, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Fall Out Boy, Zooey Deschanel, Magic, Phillip Phillips, O.A.R, Christina Perri, Backstreet Boys, Gavin DeGraw, Of Monsters and Men, and a whole lot more.

Alex doesn't just have a voice, he can play 12 instruments and is a songwriter, too.

He plans to release a 3 song EP before Christmas.
