Apple Harvest Day 2021

Saturday, October 2nd -  9-4pm

Downtown Dover

Even though the weather has been hot enough to bake an apple on the side walk recently, this official message from The Greater Dover Chamber Of Commerce, makes me not only feel the crisp Autumn air but taste the apple crisp too.

The first Saturday in October is always such a magical time in that section of The Garrison City. The foliage lining Central Ave is always the perfect shade of bright yellow.

How did the people that planted those trees eighty years ago figure out how to synchronize the leaves with a Fall event that wouldn't happen until 1985?

Can't wait to snap this pic again on October 2nd!
