As temperates continue to warm, people all across Maine and New England are getting the itch to do fun summer things. For many, that includes trips to their favorite amusement parks including Aquaboggan Waterpark in Saco. Aquaboggan took to Facebook to announce that they will be opening for a full season in 2021 on Saturday, June 26th (weather permitting)  Aquaboggan also shared some answers to questions visiting guests may have.

Do You Need To Make A Reservation Ahead Of Time To Visit Aquaboggan?

No reservations required. As of right now, Aquaboggan plans to operate their ticketing the same as they have in the past. You can purchases passes online or at the gate when you arrive to the waterpark. Under current Maine requirements, you'll be asked to give contact information at the gate before entrance to the park.

Are Face Coverings Going To Be Required On Water Rides And In Pools?

The answer is no. Maine just recently updated their guidelines for waterparks and pools and will not require individuals to wear a face covering while swimming in a pool or while enjoying a waterslide inside the park. Aquaboggan also will not ask guests to wear a face covering while in line for a water slide, but plans to put into place additional social distancing measures for guests in lines. When not in line for waterslides, in a pool or gathering in the picnic area, face coverings will be required in the park as of right now.

Will 2020 Passes Be Honored For The 2021 Season?

Yes. Aquaboggan made this pledge during the 2020 season because of the fluidity of the situation. They plan to honor all 2020 passes throughout the 2021 season. If you have any additional questions about this, you can contact Aquaboggan directly.
