Finding love in a pandemic?

Meeting people is more difficult than ever during the pandemic. God forbid one cross 6 feet to someone. Not to mention the difficulty reading someone whose face is hiding under a mask.

At least with restaurants, people are unmasked some of the time. Long enough to at least know if you're physically attracted to someone or not.

A very Gritty's love story. Maybe...

Earlier this week at 3 in the afternoon a trio of ladies went out to eat at Gritty's in Freeport. According to a Craigslist Missed Connection, there was another pair in the restaurant. The poster (unknown if male or female) and their female childhood best friend.

Apparently, the late lunch was like a scene out of a movie according to the Craigslist post which noted, "We obviously had a connection as we kept catching each other looking with a smile or two."

As a sucker for love always rooting for romcom scenarios to play out in real life, I'm hoping this woman sees this post and can instantly recall this mysterious Craigslist poster.

There's also the possibility that she was super weirded out by this guy/gal or she was under the assumption that the female companion was more than a friend.

For now, I'll give the benefit of the doubt and hope for the best.

Could it be you?
