At One of His First Concerts, LL Cool J Had to Explain What Hip Hop Was to Mainers

LL Cool J, funny as ever, is making us look like the Mainers we are! Thursday night, the rapper-turned-actor was a featured guest on Late Night with Stephen Colbert, and described what it was first like to do shows outside of his comfort zone.

"It was a different world. I had to explain what hip hop was to people in Maine!"

He also joked about "little old ladies" in Iowa and Idaho, and took a pretty funny shot at Kanye West.

At least we left an impression on him though, right?!
