The Fourth of July celebration is on this year in North Conway at Schouler Park and town officials and expecting 7,000 to 8,000 people to be there. That means there's bound to be a lot of slow-moving traffic on an already busy stretch of road.

The Conway Scenic Railroad is offering a trip on a that they have dubbed the Firecracker Express that will bring you from Conway Station to North Conway to view the fireworks display.

Passengers can park at Conway Station, across from the Ham Public Ice Arena at 87 West Main Street in Conway and board the Firecracker Express train which will take them to  North Conway station, the home of the Conway Scenic, which just so happens to be next to Schouler Park where the celebration will be. Tickets are just $12 for the round trip.

Boarding times at Conway Station are 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m, 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. The train is the regularly scheduled Conway Valley Train. One final trail back to Conway Station will leave North Conway Station after the fireworks scheduled to go off at 9:30.

Tickets are just $12 and the Conway Scenic recommends you book in advance on their website to secure your seat as they are first come, first serve.

A nice train ride from Conway to North Conway and back again sure beats sitting in traffic waiting to get out after the fireworks are over.

LOOK: Here are the 50 best beach towns in America

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.

Keep reading to see if your favorite beach town made the cut.
