How many times do you wake up on a Sunday and scramble through your list of outside bars with a good atmosphere for a Sunday Funday during the summer?

Well, I've got one to add to your bucket list, and it's specifically built for backyard fun.

Welcome to Backyard Boogie Sundays at The Portland Zoo

If you're local, and you've been to "The Zoo" in Portland before, you know that this unique inside/outside bar is already adorable in the summertime. Offering lots of local rotating draft beers, you basically grab a drink and pick a cool barrel to sit on in the backyard.

The Portland Zoo understands how important it is to Mainers in the summertime to have a chill atmosphere outside, so they've now added even more activities to do in the sun.

It's called Backyard Boogie in their new backyard oasis that you'll get to enjoy EVERY Sunday. It's the local LIVE DJ sets and musicians that literally provide the boogie while you hang with your friends around the picnic tables out back.

P.S. If you're a board game kinda bar patron, they also provide tons of bar games anywhere from cards to Jenga (which I then create drinking games with LOL).

On deck, this Sunday is Sun Yata, Fatty Shay and Cecil G.

However, you can check out what pops up on the music schedule right here.

LOOK: Here are the 50 best beach towns in America

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.

Keep reading to see if your favorite beach town made the cut.
