Bungalows at Hidden Pond in Kennebunkport Just Opened With New Designs Inspired by Trips Around Maine
Hidden Pond Resort in Kennebunkport, Maine
Tucked away on 60 acres of forest in Kennebunkport lies an award-winning resort boasting peace and serenity in the wilderness of Maine.
Hidden Pond Resort offers treetop lodges, one-bedroom bungalows, and two-bedroom cottages with stunning interior designs for tourists near and far and for locals who just need to get away.
There’s a reason the resort was ranked No.2 among the best destination resorts in America by USA Today last year in 2021; the accommodations are luxurious and generous, with a sun-lit fitness studio, serenity pool, organic farms for you to explore, farm-to-fork-dining, guided nature walks, complimentary kayak rentals, all while being just minutes away from some of the most beautiful beaches in the state.
New Bungalows Debut in May
The resort teamed up with menswear designer Todd Snyder, who has worked with Harley Davidson and New Balance, to design 20 luxury bungalows all inspired by his trips around Maine.
An article by Boston.com shared that he was inspired specifically by trips to Mount Katahdin, the Rangeley Lakes, and Sebago Lakes for his interior design for the resort. This brought him to three design concepts: countryside, mountainside, and seaside.
The one-bedroom bungalows opened this very month of May and will now be welcoming guests all year round for a beautiful, comfortable and luxurious stay in the woods of Kennebunkport. Your home away from home comes equipped with a floor-to-ceiling fireplace, king-sized beds, and screened-in porches with comfortable daybeds so you can always feel right in nature.
The new little homes will welcome guests with a Spotify playlist carefully curated by the designer and a dark and stormy cocktail kit with mint from the resort’s garden and rum from the local favorite, Batson River Brewing & Distilling.
I was interested in the resort after hearing how highly it ranked with USA Today, I was enamored when I flipped through the photos, but now I am convinced with the cocktail kit. Whether you’re traveling to Maine from afar or you’re a local Mainer yourself, these bungalows are definitely worth checking out.
