Maine is an incredible state with plenty to offer from its natural beauty to its iconic towns and landmarks to its standout food.

So, it's unsurprising that people want to visit and get a "taste" of it.

That includes celebrity chefs looking to vacation in the Pine Tree State or simply dining at the numerous restaurants to highlight in one of their food TV shows. And, of course, enjoying it all along the way.

You might have even discovered some hidden gem eateries from watching the Food Network and Travel Channel shows that stopped in Maine (or you were just ahead of the game and knew about the spots well before the celeb chefs shared them with the rest of the world).

"Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" is a popular Food Network show that brought chef Guy Fieri to the state in 2010 to feast at the likes of the Maine Diner in Wells, Becky's Diner and the Porthole in Portland, Bob's Clam Hut in Kittery, and the Lobster Shack at Two Lights in Cape Elizabeth.
