A Nor'easter moved through Maine Wednesday into Thursday bringing with it strong winds, rain, and plenty of downed trees and power outages.

For an updated list of CMP outages, check here.

According to a CMP press release, the power company advised that "coastal customers in York, Cumberland, Sagadahoc, Lincoln, Knox and Waldo counties ... prepare for a multi-day power outage."

CMP has been working around the clock to get everyone's power back, and in a Facebook post and the press release stated that contract crews and some other crews were aiding in the process.

That said, CMP wants those coastal customers in the areas mentioned above to be prepared and plan for a "potentially lengthy outage."

While it may take some time to get power restored, a definite thanks to the hardworking crews working to get it done!
