One evening while out at a restaurant with his family, Bryan Ware started thinking about what restaurants do with the old crayons once they're used or broken.

When he found out they were being just thrown away, he came up with the idea to recycle the crayons and give them a new life. So Bryan started The Crayon Initiative. An organization dedicated to recycling crayons and making new ones for children in hospitals.
