Westbrook police say that your ring is in good hands.

No. The guy pictured here is just a stock photo. I have no idea what the guy looks like who lost his ring. But a couple of women talked to another woman on Lincoln Dock in Westbrook who said that her husband lost his wedding ring. The flyer goes on to say that while they were paddling up the Penobscot River, they found the ring in the water by a rock and grabbed it. Westbrook Police posted the flyer on their Facebook page.

I enjoy a couple of things about this flyer. That Erica and Erin call themselves, 'jewelry hunters extraordinaire' and that their email address is MEchickentender@gmail.com.

But let's get back to the good news part. If you were around the Lincoln Street dock in Westbrook and noticed that your wedding ring is missing (according to the flyer, a man's wedding ring) you can get it back.

I sure hope someone sees this who knows the couple who were looking for that ring and happened to speak to Erica and Erin. What are the odds of actually speaking about your lost ring and then those people turn around and find it, but can't find YOU!?

If you know anyone, please share this information, and let's get that ring on that poor guy's hand again. I'm sure he feels bad about losing it and it appears his wife definitely does. Losing a wedding ring is right up there with a cell phone and wallet for things that make you have sleepless nights. There is light at the end of the lost ring tunnel! We just have to find this fellow!
