A man from Dixfield allegedly led police on a 43-mile chase through Oxford County after he pointed a gun at another man at a convenience store.

According to Maine State Police, 27-year-old Zachary Yahn of Dixfield was arrested and charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon and eluding a police officer. That's just to start, as he's likely to be slapped with more charges after reportedly trying to run from police and leading them on a chase through eight towns in Oxford County.

Four police departments were involved in the chase, including Mexico, Dixfield, the Maine State Police and the Oxford County Sheriff's Department. Yahn avoided several spike mats before finally being stopped by a PIT maneuver in Rumford. A PIT maneuver is when a police officer uses his vehicle to force a car to turn sideways usually making the driver lose control and stop.

Zahn is now in the Oxford County Jail where he'll spend some quality time.
