If you have a Maine loon license plate, the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry wants to thank you this Sunday with free admission to Maine State Parks and historic sites. You just need to go in your car displaying your loon plate and you're in!

A portion of the money raised through registrations of the Maine Loon plate go to The Endangered and Nongame Wildlife Fund, and this is a way to thank those who have helped the cause.

There are restrictions though. The free admission is not available at Acadia National Park, the Allagash Wilderness Waterway, Baxter State Park, Peacock Beach, the Maine Wildlife Park, Scarborough Beach State Park, Swan Island, the Penobscot River Corridor or the Penobscot Narrows Observatory. It's also day use only after 9AM.
