Eek! You Can Go Ziplining With Zombies At This Maine Ropes Course

There are some things that seem to be on every thrill seeker's bucket list.  Skydiving, riding the world's largest & fastest rollercoasters, bungee jumping, and ziplining.

What would make that last one even more thrilling?  How about doing it with zombies?  Yeah!

What Is Ziplining?

For those who do not know, ziplining is when you ride a steel cable (a zipline) across an expanse.  Usually, this is done from platform to platform.  As the destination platform is lower than the origination platform, you are propelled by gravity.  In some cases, a zipliner can reach speeds of up to 40 miles per hour.

And, of course, you are completely strapped into a harness so there is no chance that you are going to fall.

Zombie Zipline Tours

Take Flight Aerial Adventure is a ropes course located right on Route 1 in Kittery, Maine.  In addition to the very popular ropes course, they also offer ziplining.

Later on in October, they'll be offering three nights of ziplining with zombies.  Those nights will be from 6 to 9:30 PM on Friday, October 27th, from 4 to 9:30 PM on Saturday, October 28th, and from 6 to 9:30 PM on Sunday, October 29th.

The website describes the event as:

These condensed tours are not for the faint of heart as you climb and zip line through the dark. Tours last approx. 30 minutes and include all gear, equipment and a glow stick. Celebrate Halloween with a new adventure!

They also plan to offer a family friendly version from 4 to 5:30 PM on Saturday, October 28th.

The price is $60 per person.
