The Falmouth Education Foundation had their 4th annual color run with lots of color.

I was the emcee for the Falmouth Education Foundation color run. I had never been to a color run before.

There were stations set up where they sprayed the runners with what I heard was colored Gatorade. It was cute, but I thought - I don't think there's enough color...

They saved that for the end!

I wanted to get the beginning in slo-mo, but alas - I obviously have no idea how to work my phone. But the video is super fun watching everyone have a great time!

Plus it all helped raise money for the FEF.

What exactly is the FEF? It's been around since 1993 when it was founded by a group of involved community members who wanted to support and enrich the academic, athletics and arts programs that fell outside the school and town budgets. Falmmouth Education Foundation's mission is to promote innovative student development and to enhance educational excellence for all Falmouth children.

How do that do that? Through fundraising events and generous sponsorships, Falmouth Education Foundation has raised more than $1,000,000 over the past 25 years. A volunteer board of directors coordinates all fundraising activity. Funds raised support two grant cycles annually, several large scale projects, and the continued growth of a long-term endowment.

The eventual goal of the organization is to fully fund the endowment, allowing its income to fund FEF activities.

I was happy to help such a great foundation!
