Tedy Bruschi suffered a stroke on the Fourth of July, according to a Facebook post from Tedy's Team on behalf of the Bruschi family.

WMTW reported that this is the second stroke for the former Patriots linebacker and Super Bowl champion. He had one in 2005.

Bruschi recognized the warning signs of his stroke, the Facebook post stated, "arm weakness, face drooping and speech difficulties."

Thankfully, he is recovering at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, Massachusetts, and his family is asking for privacy at this time.

Bruschi played for the New England Patriots from 1996 to 2008 and won three Super Bowls.
