There have been lots of celebrities who have either lived or visited Maine over the years. Every time they are spotted here, Mainers get all excited that they took the time to come to our beautiful state. If you're one of the lucky ones, you might even see them in person and get a chance to say hello.

The most recent celebrity to visit the Pine Tree State decided to grab a selfie with his wife down by the Portland waterfront on October 22.

Jim and Debra Duggin have been married for over 30 years. You may know Jim better by his WWE ring name "Hacksaw" Jim Duggin, well known for entering the ring with a 2x4 in his hands and swinging it to taunt his opponents while getting the crowd on their feet to cheer him on.

Jim retired from wrestling in 2012 and has made several trips to Maine and other New England States for a visit. While here in Maine, he stopped at Maine Vintage Toys in South Portland.

He posted a picture of himself and his wife down on what appears to be West Commercial Street in Portland down along the waterfront, which he calls a "big stop" when he's here in Portland.

Having watched the WWE in the '80s and '90s, I always looked forward to matches with Hacksaw Jim Duggin. He was so hyped, pumped, and a little crazy when he made his entrance, and some of his matchups were epic, especially when he won the very first Royal Rumble in 1988.

So cool to see him here visiting Maine. I hope he and Debra enjoyed their time in our state.
