If there is any place hiring during this chaos, it's grocery stores. According to a press release obtained by Townsquare Media Portland, Hannaford is looking to hire 2000 more employees. They say the process will fill the gaps and supply the customers with their needs throughout the region. The new responsibilities will include retrofitting the stores with plexiglass, delivery, and curbside pick associates.

In today's press release, Hannaford Supermarkets Director of Talent Development Scott LeClair said, "We are actively growing the Hannaford team and expediting our efforts to hire and train new associates. Expanding our team will allow us to better serve our customers while continuing to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our shoppers and associates."
