First it was spinning, then it got chainsawed, now it's melting.

Could it just possibly be that there isn't anything else going on in Maine? Is that why this thing is STILL in the news?

No, that couldn't possibly be it. Over the last two weeks, there has been a TON of stuff in the news, like beavers messing with the snow guns in the mountains, hawks losing toes in Portland, and squirrels invading shops in Buckfield.

Ok, maybe nothing else is going on.

The Ice Disk has captivated the world, and now our one massive story of the year is almost gone. Too bad... really wish it could have hung around through the Super Bowl this weekend.
