Memorial Day weekend is here and the weather is looking pretty good for the unofficial start of summer. What better way to enjoy it than by packing up the family in the car and heading to the drive-in theater?

The days when just about every town had its own drive-in theater are long gone, and we lost two more this year.  Saco Drive-In is temporarily closed as it's in the process of moving to Aquaboggan Water Park and Bangor Drive-In sadly announced in April that it would be closing indefinitely. But between Maine and New Hampshire, there are still six drive-in theaters open this season.

Since it's Memorial Day Weekend, there are some blockbuster movies out in theaters, and many of Maine and New Hampshire's drive-in theaters will be showing them.

Here's what's playing at each drive-in theater this weekend along with showtimes.

Pride's Corner - 651 Bridgton Rod / Route 302, Westbrook, ME

Pride's Corner has a triple feature for the Memorial Day weekend, starting at 8:30 with Top Gun: Maverick which is getting good reviews.

That's followed by Uncharted with Ton Holland and Mark Wahlberg at 10:55.

And if you're still awake, at 1 a.m. it's the classic horror movie from 1984, Friday the 13th Part IV.

Bridgton Twin Drive-In - 383 Portland Road / Route 302,  Bridgton, ME

Bridgton Twin Drive-In has a double feature on each screen. Screen 1 is showing Top Gun: Maverick at 8:35 followed by The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent with Nicholas Cage at 11:05.

Screen 2 is showing Dreamworks film The Bad Guys at 8:35 followed by Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness at 10:30

Skowhegan Drive-In Theater - 201 Waterville Rd, Skowhegan, ME

Skowhegan's Drive-In Theater's double feature is Top Gun: Maverick and The Lost City with Channing Tatum and Sandra Bullock. The show starts at dusk.

Weirs Drive-In Theater - 76 Endicott St E, Laconia, NH

It's double features on all four of Weirs Drive-In's screens:

Screen 2: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Top Gun: Maverick

Two screens and two double features at the Milford Drive-In.
Screen one has Top Gun: Maverick and The Lost City while screen two is showing The Bob's Burger Movie and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Northfield Drive-In - 981 Northfield St, Hinsdale, NH

We're still unsure if Northfield Drive-In in Hinsdale, New Hampshire is open for the season yet. Their website and social media accounts have not been updated, but we'll keep checking.
