I Ate Lunch at the Gray-New Gloucester Middle School

Ms. Thurlow reached out to me to read for their 5th Annual Read Across America Day at the Gray-New Gloucester Middle School. After I finished it was lunch,..I couldn't resist. 

I read my favorite book 'Jumanji' by Chris Van Allsburg. The kids were amazing. So well behaved. Then I answered some questions, ('What's your favorite song? What time do you have to get up? Can you say my name on the radio?) When it was all said and done - it was LUNCH TIME!

The kids screamed with joy and then asked,

Can Lori come?!

The teachers had a weird look on their face like, 'Oh God...that's the last thing she wants to do...'  Then I jumped up and said,

I'd love it!

So off to school lunch I went! First the pink tray, then there were choices! I was so confused as to what to have.

I went with a cheeseburger. Then I got a salad at the salad bar and then...I got to sit at the cool table - for the first time!

Thanks to Ms. Thurlow, Ms. Hilfrank and all the kids. When I get all the names...I'm gonna add them here because I promised to make them famous!
