This is Lincoln doing one of his favorite things..lying on something just taken out of the dryer. He had no discrimination. As long as it was JUST out of the dryer, he'd lie on it. I had to put Lincoln down Monday. I hope he's in a better place...I know he is.

I just want to thank the people at the Falmouth Veterinary Hospital for their empathy, their compassion and their professionalism. This is not their first rodeo. It's not mine either.

I have to admit that I'm a bit of a mess. I spent the last few days with Lincoln letting him do and eat pretty much whatever he wanted. Doctors orders. He had chicken and 'Greenies' until he just didn't want anymore. And despite not feeling well at all, he still wanted to sit on my lap.

When I got home, Chloe (9) said that she wrote me something. All the kids were warned that Lincoln was very sick. Here's her note to me:
