There is no doubt that most Mainers live for fair season!  For many, the lack of fairs in 2021 was one of the most heartbreaking parts of the pandemic.  Yes, the cancellation of mass gathering events was necessary in order to curtail the spread of the deadly virus, but the loss of those events still saddened many,

The good news is that, as the world slowly returns to normal, we are seeing the return of fairs.  In fact, the 2021 Maine Fair Season kicked off at the end of June with the Monmouth Fair.  A few days later, the Houlton Agricultural Fair was held in Aroostook County.

Now, we are getting word that the second largest fair in the state (only slightly smaller than the Fryeburg Fair), The Windsor Fair, will take place in late August and early September.

According to the fair's Facebook page, the event will get kicked off on August 29th and run through September 6th.

The event will be back full force with a midway full of rides, truck pulls, demolition derbies, live music, and all that fair food!  Can't you just taste it now?

Of course, we plan to be there, too.  So, keep an eye out for our booth.

And, keep up to date with everything going on at the fair on their website.
