During the pandemic, we embraced a lot of new technology.

Many of us worked remotely and participated in our first Zoom conferences during the height of the COVID-19 situation.

We also brought back a lot of older trends.

For example, old-school outdoor toys made a big comeback.  Slip-N-Slides were flying off the shelves during the spring of 2020.

We also saw drive-in theaters make a temporary comeback.  In most cases, these theaters were running older movies (most of the new movies were delayed because f the pandemic), but it was more about getting out of the house than it was about the specific movie.

While many of these trends, like kids playing with the classic outdoor toys, were all but completely ditched following the pandemic, some are likely to stick around for years to come.

Drive-in laser light shows, for example.

What is a Drive-In Laser Light Show?

As the name implies, it is a laser show hosted in a place where it can be viewed from your vehicle.  Common venues include drive-in theaters, fairgrounds, and parking lots.

The laser shows are generally synced to a music soundtrack.

These were popular prior to the pandemic, but have become more popular since 2020.
