Some Maine Smartphone Users Could See Service Issues This Weekend
It is crazy to think about how much technology has changed our lives in the last few decades.
If you are over the age of 30, there is a good chance that you remember a time when we were not all constantly connected to everything by our smartphones. If you were lucky enough to have a cellphone in the 1990s or early 2000s, all you used it for was making phone calls or sending text messages.
Maybe, if you were a business person or a Kardashian, you might have had a Blackberry. You could use it to send emails or scroll through Myspace.
Then, about 2010, all that changed. Suddenly, iPhones and Android phones were everywhere. We were using them to post pictures and videos on social media, using them to get any information we needed to know in seconds, and using them to have video conference calls with our co-workers. Sometimes, we even used them to make phone calls.
These days, most of us could not imagine our lives without our phones.
You want to keep in mind that you could experience a temporary interruption to your smartphone service this weekend.
