While we really don't dare call it a heatwave, it looks like much of Maine will see summerlike weather on Monday.

According to the National Weather Service, Augusta and Waterville will see sunny skies and a high temperature of about 77 degrees.

Sure, it won't be pool or beach weather, but it will be much nicer than we are used to this time of year.

The Portland area will see sunny skies and temperatures that are a little cooler than the inland temperatures.  People in Portland can expect a high temperature of about 73 degrees.

The Bangor area will see lots of sun and a high of about 73 degrees.  Most of Aroostook County will see sunny skies and temperatures in the lower 70s.

The rest of the week will be decent, but nowhere near as warm.  We can expect partly sunny skies with temperatures in the 60s.

Also, don't let the daytime high temperatures fool you, the nights are still going to be chilly.  We'll see temperatures drop into the 40s and lower 50s during the night.
