United Volunteers of Maine Host Haunted House and No-Scare Events

The United Volunteers of Maine Haunted House is back for another thrilling season, offering something for everyone this Halloween season. Visitors can experience both family-friendly and spine-chilling events at 13 Marketplace Drive in Augusta, located next to Barnes & Noble and Loot.

Special No-Scare Haunted House! Families with younger children or anyone who prefers a gentler Halloween experience can enjoy the No-Scare Haunted House on Saturday, October 25th from 3–5 p.m. This year, the event will feature the one and only Tickles the Clown, who will be on hand for balloon tying and fun activities.

Scary Haunted House! For those seeking a more traditional Halloween fright, the Scary Haunted House runs on select evenings from 7–9 p.m., or until the last paying guest has made their way through. Dates include October 17th, 18th, 24th, 25th, and October 28th through November 2nd. A special Day of the Dead blackout show will also take place on November 2nd from 7–9 p.m.

The United Volunteers of Maine is welcoming volunteers for this year’s haunted house. Interested individuals can reach out via the United Volunteers of Maine Haunted House Facebook page or email unitedvolunteersofmaine@yahoo.com. Volunteers are encouraged to contact organizers soon, as preparations are already underway.

Additionally, the haunted house offers fundraising opportunities for schools, sports teams, dance teams, cheer teams, and other groups. Funds raised through these events must go to the group as a whole, rather than an individual, and are subject to approval.

With a mix of friendly fun and traditional scares, the United Volunteers of Maine Haunted House promises a Halloween season full of excitement for all ages.
