Bee’s Snack Bar Makes a Comeback After 77 Years of Tradition in Maine
Very exciting news! According to Central Maine, the legendary Bee’s Snack Bar in Winslow has officially reopened! This spot is bringing yummy food and community back to 1 Lithgow Street in Winslow.
The former owners, closed the doors earlier this year and many were sad and nervous that this place was gone for good.
But thanks to Ryan-Marie Willette, Bee’s is back and better than ever!
Here's how Bee's came back to life
Ryan-Marie grew up with Bee’s in the family and is a nurse at Northern Light Inland Hospital.
As most of us are aware now, the hospital announced it’s closure so at that point, she knew it was time to return to her roots and with help from four generations of Willettes, the diner is once again at it’s glory!
There is this community cult following and deep loyalty held by the customers of Bee’s and some of those customers even lent a hand on opening day, as per the article.
