It has no been over 30 years since Maine State Police stopped working on solving the 1991 murder of 20-year-old Christopher Rines.

But now, they are asking for our help, according to WGME. Christopher was last seen alive on April 12th, 1991. It’s reported that he was hanging out and drinking with his friends in Pittsfield.  

It has now been 34 years, and one thing has become crystal clear, this generation is living for solving cold cases and jumping into the true crime world.

So if Maine State Police are asking for help, a bunch of us will put on our honorary detective hats and start sleuthing like it’s a Netflix special!

Here’s what you need to know:  

The last night Christopher was seen was supposed to be just another night, but turned into a tragedy lasting over 3 decades.

The authorities believe a dispute may have broken out between Christopher and someone that was in the groups of friends, as per the report.

Shortly after, his coat was found near Mill Pond and divers later discovered Christophers body in the water nearby, as per WGME.

It’s a case that has been haunting Pittsfield and the entire state of Maine for a long time. A mans life was cut short and for all these years, no one has been held accountable for killing him.
