Carrie Plourde is proving that women belong in the powersports industry. I was lucky enough to meet and interview Carrie, the owner of Four Seasons Powersports, and hearing her story was inspiring.

Carrie explained that she has years of experience working on and repairing ATVs, snowmobiles, motorcycles, and other powersports vehicles. She takes pride in being able to diagnose problems and fix machines that many people assume only men can work on.

Creating Opportunities For Women In This Space

What stood out the most during our interview was her passion for helping other women learn these same skills. Carrie emphasized that she is not only repairing vehicles but also creating opportunities for women to become more confident and independent.

Through classes and hands-on instruction, she is teaching women how to work on and repair their own powersports equipment. Her goal is to make the industry feel more welcoming and less intimidating for beginners.

Carrie’s dedication to teaching and empowering others is helping break stereotypes in a field that has traditionally been male dominated. She is showing that anyone, regardless of gender, can learn the skills needed to succeed in the powersports world.
