Kone Zone, the most charming little food truck in Waterville, Maine, is known for serving the most delicious taco kones, mac & cheese kones, gyro kones, and apple pie kones.

They are kone-krazy, and we love them for it!

Recently, they posted online to inform everyone about their early closure this summer, explaining that they need to address some family issues.

But before they close their doors for the season, they are giving back to the community.

According to WABI, on their final day of this year (this Friday, July 5), they are donating their profit to the Waterville Food Pantry and the Waterville Humane Society. This is something they do not have to do, and what makes them so much more adored.

This says something deep about the staff of this local food truck. It shows their dedication to giving back to the area, and it's a beautiful thing to witness. Despite having their own family issues to attend to, they are still thinking about the well-being of folks who are hungry and animals who need love. This almost brings a tear to my eye.

Chef Robert Hatch said the following,

We love Waterville. Waterville’s loved us back really well, so we’d love to donate all of the money on Friday to the local food pantry and also the humane society. We want to go out with a bang, Since we’ve been open, Waterville’s treated us very nicely, and we want to give back.

We can't wait until Kone Zone returns next season!
