For many, there snack tooth often likes to be rewarded with something sugary and sweet. However, for millions of Americans, myself included, we could take or leave the sugar- give us the salt!
Salty snacks are bae
There's just something about a crunchy, salty snack that satisfies the deepest caverns of our guttural regions. That's why, whenever the state fairs roll around, I dig into the annual 'fair fund' of cash in preparation to by as many crispy, crunchy and salty snack as possible.

Maybe this is why America has an obesity and hypertensive crisis going on. Either that, or the blatant lack of self-control that so many of us, myself included again, struggle with. If you're like me, be prepared to be saddened by a new list of discontinued snacks.
So which major company is getting rid of several snacks?
According to an article published by Sporked, massive snack brand Frito-Lay has announced the discontinuation of at least 15 of their current snacks. Some of these include offerings from the Doritos and Tostitos lineup, among others.
There are many reasons that a company might decide to pull several products from the shelves. It could be that they need to make room for a new product line, however, most of the time, it's because the items they're discontinuing just weren't selling that well.
