New Hampshire may be a small state, but she’s mighty glorious and has big forest energy.

Most of this state is covered in trees but do you know which forest in NH is the largest?

Drumroll please.. it is the White Mountain National Forest.

This isn't just the largest national forest but it’s also the states only national forest.

It reaches across a whopping 800,000 acres of wilderness, right in Maine. That’s a lot of trees, like an actually ocean of trees. Think of the tree houses you could make?

According to a-zanimals, it was established in 1918 after years of logging, flooding and fires and it made residents realize, that maybe they should protect this tree ocean.

There are trees and trails galore but that’s not also, this majestic place is also home to 48 different mountain peaks over 4,000 feet tall.

If you climb, your calves will burn, deep

And the wildlife? Oh babe, it’s wild

You know how when you go hiking you are always looking forward to witnessing natures beauty?

Whether it be a rogue squirrel, cute deer, or even a magical moose? Well, this place has all the little creatures to enjoy.

If you're lucky (and very quiet), you might even catch a glimpse of one of the 5,000 black bears who live in the state, don’t worry, they’re pretty shy and like to eat berries more than humans.

The wildlife is booming in the White Mountain National Forest and that's because they kept it safe for them to evolve and grow there.

You'll possibly see black bears, white tailed deer, bald eagle, moose and more!

Whether you're hiking, camping, or just trying to see a moose IRL, this is the forest to head to. It’s pure magic with trees on trees, trails on trails, and maybe photobomb a black bear mowing on berries. One can dream.
