Can you imagine vacationing somewhere, and seeing your hometown in their newspaper?

I mean, if you're vacationing in New England there's a solid chance you could hear about what's going on in your hometown a few states over. That seems plausible. But if you were 1,000 miles from home, you may not expect to see Bangor or Lewiston or Portland in the local paper.

A Maine couple vacationing in Bangor witnessed this on a recent trip to St. Louis, according to a post on the You Know You Grew Up in Bangor, When... Facebook page.
