A Family Affair: New Mother/Daughter Owned Café Opens In Milbridge, Maine
A quaint little café just opened on North Main Street in Milbridge, and already it's got people "caw-king".
The Crows Nest Café is run by Diane (mom) and Dottie (daughter), a mother-daughter team.
It features a variety of scrumptious-sounding "cawfees" and "crow treats."
Open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday from 7 AM to 8 PM, and Sunday from 9 AM to 2 PM (they're closed Thursdays) the Crows Nest had their official "soft opening" on March 22nd.
And in just the couple of weeks it's been open, the response has been very positive!
One customer commented on their social media page: "I dropped in this week for a time-out and a tea + delicious muffin, and had a great chat with Diane and Dottie and another customer. Just the pick-me-up my 4 PM mood needed. And I love the hours! (Do they ever rest? smile) "
While another wrote: " Stopped in yesterday afternoon. Picked up a wonderful cup of coffee. Stayed about an hour chatting with the owner Diane and her daughter Dottie.
Absolutely plan to go back soon. Wonderful to have such a nice shop with super friendly folk. Milbridge scored!"
The coffee beans Diane and Dottie use come locally from Green Tree Coffee and Tea out of Lincolnville. The gals settled on those specific beans after sampling many options, because of their smooth and creamy finish.
And as anyone who drinks coffee knows, good beans make good coffee!
(I hear the caramel macchiato is dreamy!)
Rustic and charming inside, the inside of this sweet little cape Café features Dottie's artistry on display with her hand-drawn signage.
Two floors of cozy and comfortable spots invite you to stop, sit, sip, and stay for a while. They offer wifi throughout the place, so grab yourself a cup, and set up for that virtual meeting.
