New Augusta, Maine, Burlington Store Sets Opening Date for September

All my New England bargain hunters.. this one's for you. 

If you've been waiting for Burlington to finally open its doors in Augusta, the countdown is officially on. 

According to Burlington's website, the new Augusta location is expected to open Thursday, September 24th, with a Grand Opening celebration planned for Friday, September 25th.

So whether you're eager to be one of the first shoppers through the doors or you'd rather join the festivities the next day, you won't have to wait much longer. 

New Burlington Store Sets Opening Date For Augusta, Maine

The new store will become Maine's third Burlington location, joining stores in Portland and Bangor. 

If you've never shopped at Burlington before, prepare yourself. It's one of those stores where you walk in looking for a new pair of sneakers and somehow leave with one of those super soft throw blankets, a kitchen gadget you didn't know you needed, dog treats, and a designer handbag you couldn't pass up. 

The retailer is known for giving us all those big juicy discounts on brand name clothing, shoes, home décor, beauty products, toys, baby stuff, and seasonal finds.

It's basically a treasure hunt every time you stop by. . 

For shoppers in the Augusta area, this means one more option for grabbing deals without making the drive to Portland or Bangor.
