The buzz is going around about a new spot for tea lovers to gather in Lewiston!

According to a recent Facebook post from Lewiston Mayor, Carl Sheline, Fifth Pillar Tea House is prepping to open their lovely doors at 191 Lisbon Street, Lewiston.  

In the post, the Mayor shared a photo of Meg from Fifth Pillar Tea House holding a beautiful tea mug and expressed excitement surround the opening. Check them out on Instagram!

This new addition to the cities downtown area is welcomed.  

Details about the opening date haven’t been released yet, but it’s certainly sparked curiosity and enthusiasm from the commenters and residents.  

Lisbon Street has been the heart of downtown Lewiston and a dedicated tea house could add something unique to the mix, a quiet local spot for us to support, sip, and meet new friends.

In previous years many downtown businesses have come and go quickly, so we all know how important it is to support small, locally owned shops, trying to become established. 

Tea lovers across the Lewiston/Auburn area are hopeful that Fifth Pillar Tea House will thrive and grow into a lasting addition to our city.

For now, we must wait for all of the details surrounding the opening, but the early excitement suggests plenty of people will be ready to stop in once the doors open.
