These Grapes From Portland, Maine, Hannaford Are Comically Gigantic
These grapes from Hannaford at Back Cove in Portland, Maine are HUGE!
Tucked among all the normal-sized seedless green grapes, were these monstrosities. My first instinct was to touch them to make sure they weren't mushy. I can't stand getting green grapes (or any color for that matter) that are mushy. They were hard!
Are these grapes found at Portland, Maine Hannaford a mistake?
Nope. However, I bought the only bag. When I saw just how big these grapes are, I was slightly concerned. I have never seen grapes this big before! What the hell was I eating? They are called Autumn Crisp, and they are proud of their golf ball-sized green seedless grapes!

I have never seen anything like this, let alone eat something like this. They are delicious. You can put one in your mouth, but I could barely get my mouth around it to munch down on the crispy deliciousness. They are super crisp (exactly how I love my grapes). They kicked the grape ass of those normal oblong-shaped green grapes. I did some digging and Autumn Crisp knows they grow big yummy grapes!
Would you eat these giant grapes found in Portland, Maine, or too freaky?
I recommend them! They were super tasty! I was pleasantly surprised and will now look for these comically large grapes. If you don't think they look that big - I did try to eat one with my tiny hands.*
*not MY physical tiny hands - the plastic ones my friends got me.
See? Comically large! If eating more fruit is a New Year's resolution, these grapes should satisfy that resolution!
