According to the Facebook Event Page, Munka Studios is presenting “Lisbon Street: A Street of Stories”, a visual adventure that will walk you through the history and heart of Lewiston’s legendary main street life.
Those days are not forgotten and Munka Studios made sure of it.
A Street of Stories: Discover Lewiston’s Lisbon Street History
This was curated by the Bates College digital media students who collaborated with the Androscoggin Historical Society, Maine MILL, LA Arts, Muskie Archives, Bates Theater and Dance, and the Harward Center for Community Partnerships, this exhibit is an awe-inspiring mixture of art, storytelling, and history.
The event is taking place on December 3rd at 5;00pm at 221 Lisbon Street, Lewiston, as per Munka Studios.
What you can expect is to discover the history of the city through enticing visuals, engaging displays, and authentic storytelling that will shine a light on the people, places, and moments that made Lisbon Street what it is today.
From captivating old photos to modern interpretations, this event will give you the spirit of the street and how it has molded generations of residents.
