Maine’s Taj Indian Cuisine Serves Up Kindness During the Government Shutdown

When life gets hard and times get rough, the state of Maine always seems to find a way to take care of their own. Taj Indian & Indo-Chinese Cuisine in Portland is doing just that and proving that kindness is what they are all about in the most heartwarming of ways.  

So many community members are struggling because of the Maine government shutdown and how its paused or stopped SNAP benefits. How will families eat? That is what so many are left wondering.
