The Trailblaze Challenge isn’t just a hike. It’s a powerful way to help grant life-changing
wishes for children with critical illnesses across Maine. Whether you're a first-time hiker
or a seasoned trailblazer, this event welcomes all experience levels. It’s a chance to push your physical limits, connect with a passionate, supportive community, and make a lasting difference in a child's life.

A Personal Story

Watch the above video to hear from my girlfriend, Michele, who has completed the full 23.4 miles year after year. Her dedication to raising funds and awareness is truly
inspiring—and seeing her cross that finish line is nothing short of amazing.

Trailblaze Challenge meant to them.

Over 80 Hikers and Counting

Every year, Make-A-Wish Maine grants 80 wishes for Maine kids, with the average cost of a wish being around $8500. The Trailblaze Challenge continuously raises $250,000 annually to make wishes come true. It's a daunting task, but every year they grant all those wishes, putting smiles on kids' faces when they learn their wish has come true.
