This Amesbury, Massachusetts Chocolate Shop Came Up With the Coolest Video Box Ever
And it might be the only Chocolate Video Box.
When a friend of mine brought a chocolate version of a Faberge egg to my house for a get-together, I thought for sure she ordered it online. It was beautiful and you had to crack it open with a hammer!
Turns out, it's from a chocolate shop in Amesbury, Massachusetts that does so much more than fancy eggs.
M. Cacao in Amesbury, Massachusetts is a Chocolate Art Studio
My friend told me she went to M. Cacao in Amesbury, Massachusetts. This place is so much more than a chocolate shop. It is home to the self-proclaimed (or they could be) World's Only Chocolate Video Box.
The World's Only Chocolate Video Box is in Amesbury, Massachusetts
M. Cacao is the only place I've ever heard of where you can get an Espressio. An Espressio is a personalized video box filled with truffles.
All you do is go to their website, upload a video of you saying "Congratulations," or "Happy Wedding," or whatever and they will create the box of joy and happiness. When you open it, the video will start to play. The box will be filled with chocolates.
How cool is that? I've never heard of that in my life.
The "Smash" Collection Looks Super Fun
The chocolate egg is only one of their pieces in the "Smash" collection. They have a koi fish that you can smash and get all kinds of other goodies inside.
Want Some Cheese with that Chocolate? M. Cacao in Amesbury Has You covered
The culinary artists don't stop at just chocolate. They combine fancy cheese with chocolate too. For example, this is just one of the examples from their fancy cheese collection from their website:
Parmigiano Reggiano, a hard cheese from the Parma region of Italy, is made from raw cow’s milk. It is aged up to 36 months in climate-controlled rooms, giving it an intense, savory flavor with hints of nuttiness and umami.
They'll Teach You How to Make Some Chocolate of Your own
If you want to know how they make their chocolates, the offer private classes. I'm sure they won't give away ALL their secrets, but how fun does a chocolate and ice cream party tasting sound? Pretty fun if you ask me.
Two people had the same passion for food and chocolate, according to their website. One, Founder, Engineer and Chocolatier Michael Nichols and the other, a master pastry chef, Delphin Gomes, both seek high quality chocolate and craft creations as far as the imagination will take them.
You can email them to book a private tasting or if you would like to visit them in person, they are in the Trades Mill Building, 2nd floor, 6 Chestnut Street #211, Amesbury, MA 01913.
Doesn't this sound like fun? I can't even make a cake pop. What do you think of this place? Have you been?
