Now Open: New Hampshire Restauranteur’s New Brewery With Potentially the Longest Bar in the State
Michael Buckley, owner of Surf in Portsmouth, has opened up the Lost Cowboy Brewing Company in Nashua, New Hampshire. And if you like beer, barbecue, and a cowboy vibe, this place is for you.
New Hampshire Chef Brings the West Back East
Michael Buckley has always dreamed of opening up a country BBQ restaurant due to his many trips out West. The website promises that when you step inside, you'll be transported to a place where you can hang your hat and have a great time.
There is a patio and a game room. It sounds like you could spend the entire day and night there. It looks like a beautiful mountaintop resort that you could truly live in full-time.
According to lostcowboybrewing.com, this place could have the longest bar in the state. Although it's a brewery, it's not a true cowboy place without whiskey. It could be the longest bar in the entire state!
They have 14 large screen TVs, and the menu is country through and through with burgers and BBQ. I can almost taste the sweet and savory sauces of the food now.
If you've got cowboy boots, wear 'em. Cowboy hat? Even better. This is the kind of place where you'll fit right in.
The Lost Cowboy Brewing Company is located at 546 Amherst Street in Nashua, New Hampshire. They are closed on Mondays, and don't open until 4pm on Tuesdays through Fridays. On Saturday and Sunday, they open at 11am.
Right now, they are asking for your patience, as the place is not quite up to full capacity. But you are welcome to come on in and check it out.
Michael Buckley is not only the owner of Surf in Portsmouth, but also Buckley's in Merrimack, New Hampshire, Mike's Italian Kitchen in Nashua, New Hampshire, and Buckley's Bakery & Cafe in Merrimack, New Hampshire.
If you're from New Hampshire and you go out to eat, chances are, you'll get to know the great chefs of the 603. My favorite chef in the state (hell, in New England) is the O.G. Yankee Chef, John Sullivan of Temple, New Hampshire (totally related). But John closed his restaurants (for now), so I have to choose other restaurants, and many times, the ones I choose are Michael Buckley's places.
Michael Buckley's food is wicked good. Tourists who are looking for an exceptional meal choose a Michael Buckley restaurant. You won't go wrong.
Have you been to one of his restaurants?
